The polar bears are the world’s largest land predator (Animals which kill and eat another animal). They can be found in the Arctic, the U.S. (Alaska), Canada, Russia, Denmark (Greenland), and Norway. (Globe🌎 time!!!)
Polar bears are called marine mammals because they are mostly found near ice and water.🌊
Along with their thick fur, they have a layer of fat that protects their bodies from the frosty air and near-freezing🥶 water.

👉 Polar bears can reach speeds up to 40 kmph on land and 10 kph in water. 40 kmph is only slightly slower than your car speed in a city.
👉 Their sense of smell is so good, they can sniff👃🏻 out prey from up to 16km away. That’s really far!!!
👉 At birth, the cubs are only around 30cm long and weigh around half a kilogram. That’s as big as a Guinea pig. 🐹
👉 Polar Bears and Penguins are both found on ice, so can you find them together? Actually never. Penguins live in Antarctica (South Pole) and Polar Bears live in Arctic (North Pole). (Globe🌎 Time)!!!
