Prince Siddhartha was only 16 when he got married. His wife’s name was Yasodhara.
At the age of 29, Prince Siddhartha left Nepal in search of a way to end rebirth, old age, disease and death.
Siddhartha sat under a sacred fig and started meditating. At the end of the meditation, he achieved all the answers to his question and became Buddha.
Since that day, Siddhartha had a new goal in his life: to help humans lead a better life and understand its essentials.
