Cockroaches are highly adaptive and they can eat anything, from debris, fruits, meat,
and other insects to even other cockroaches. They will eat anything to survive.
A cockroach can live for a week without its head.
This is because they don’t need their head for breathing.They have small holes in their bodies which help them in breathing.
They can survive without food for even a month. But they can’t stay thirsty. They cannot stay without water for more than 7 days.
Fun Facts
A cockroach can hold its breath for 40 minutes, and can even survive being submerged under water for half an hour. And you thought flushing it would kill it. 
The world’s largest cockroach is six inches long and it lives in South America.
