Did you know that Penguins🐧 belong to the bird family but still they cannot fly? Penguin’s wings help them swim.

Penguins are carnivores which means they eat meat. They catch their food in the water.🌊 Penguins spend half of their time on land and the other half in the water.

Penguins are found in the southern hemisphere which includes Antarctica, South America, South Africa, New Zealand and Galapagos islands. (Globe time!!!🌎)

👉 A group of penguins is called a waddle if it’s on land.

👉 If a penguin’s baby dies, the mother will often “kidnap” an unrelated chick. Well, that’s scary!

👉 Father penguins take equal care of the eggs. The two parents will take turns holding the eggs between their legs for warmth in a nest.

👉 Penguins can be playful. They like to lay on their tummy and slide through the ice and snow.❄ They also jump from the cliffs into the water, get out and jump again. Just for fun!!!
